MS Worldwide provides technical leadership, research, and field support for a wide range of activities worldwide, ranging from climate resilient planning and engineering to community and social development.
We have partnered with governments, corporations, and international development stakeholders to deliver high-quality monitoring, evaluation, research, and analytic studies to relevant technical offices and missions. Our work helps organizations and projects strengthen their ability to make evidence-based decisions, foster collaborative learning, and ensure accountability for the results achieved.
We have conducted many important and well-utilized studies, including socio-economic studies, WASH, traffic & transportation, Citizen Behavior Surveys, Land Use Surveys, environmental social safeguarding studies for climate-resilient urban and rural development planning of various cities and districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan Region. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, we partnered with the Urban Policy & Planning Unit Planning and Development Department Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which utilized all these studies in the City Master Planning.
In addition, we have conducted topographic surveys and feasibility studies for multiple private sector stakeholders. For instance, we carried out an EU-backed project’s feasibility study of women-led agricultural cooperatives in the northern provinces of Afghanistan. This project empowered vulnerable women by providing them with sustainable livelihoods and opportunities in agriculture, contributing to their economic independence.
In Uganda, we partnered with a local NGO to perform agro-climatic research for one of the Climate Smart Agriculture Projects backed by UNFAO. The results are helpful amongst the women farmers who adopt climate-smart seed varieties. This initiative supported farmers in adjusting to changing climate conditions and adopting more resilient agricultural practices.
In Afghanistan, we also conducted a pre- and post-performance evaluation of an innovative land tenure mapping and certification activity. We organized pre-design workshops and presented our findings to government officials and local partners. A local partner subsequently scaled up the pilot, using the insights gained from our evaluation to inform the project’s next phase.
From delivering performance monitoring services in challenging environments such as the Northern Provinces of Afghanistan, conflict-sensitive Tribal Areas of Pakistan, and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa regions, including North and South Waziristan, to supporting the Government, ADB, and World Bank with multi-cluster research and surveys, we ensure our clients have access to reliable, actionable data. This empowers them to make informed, strategic programming decisions that drive impactful outcomes.
