To build climate resilience we empowered the at-risk communities of Takhar and Badakshan with comprehensive DRR/CBDRM training, equipping community leaders and members with the skills needed to mitigate the long-term impacts of natural disasters and climate change. This initiative emphasized the importance of preparedness, rapid response, and community-level resilience, offering sustainable strategies for managing future risks.
In partnership with a women-led NGO supported by a European Commission-funded initiative, MS Worldwide provided enterprise development training to young women in the region. This initiative began with a thorough assessment of local skill needs and market trends to ensure that the training was aligned with industry demands. Upon successful completion of the training, the women were connected with relevant industries, facilitating their entry into the workforce. Additionally, MS Worldwide equipped these women with essential online marketing skills, empowering them to effectively promote their products and services in the digital marketplace
Recognizing the untapped potential of Pakistan’s tourism industry, we collaborated with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) to deliver a youth-focused training initiative in the cities of Peshawar (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) and Quetta (Balochistan). This program aimed to equip young people with the skills needed to thrive in the tourism and hospitality sectors, particularly in tour management. The training focused on enhancing participants’ customer service skills, cultural knowledge, and logistical management abilities, with many graduates now successfully employed in the tourism industry, contributing to local economic growth.
